STASIS powers to success at Silverstone

STASIS would like to congratulate the University of Sunderland's Formula Student 2008 racing team on their excellent performance at Formula Student 2008. The competition was held at Silverstone in the UK last month and is an event for students to design, build and compete with other small Formula style racing cars from around the world.
The University of Sunderland car, which was proudly sponsored by STASIS, finished seventh in its class and the team gained more points than ever before.
STASIS has strong automotive links and will be piloted in this sector by project partners ZF and Beiqi Foton upon completion of the STASIS Desktop Workbench software later this year.
STASIS represented at OFFIS-Day 2008

STASIS was recently represented at the OFFIS-Day 2008 event. OFFIS-Day 2008 was held on June 3rd in Germany, and focussed upon the topics logistics and supply chain integration.
During the event, the University of Oldenburg's Professor Axel Hahn spoke about how the STASIS project was addressing such challenges.
The event was covered by radio stations NDR and Bremen Radio, and TV station O1 recorded a one-hour talk show at the event, which featured Professor Hahn.
Third STASIS Project Review Successful

The third STASIS Project Review took place on 3rd June 2008 in Brussels. All deliverables were approved as-is.
Work on the STASIS software components is progressing extremely well and we are on target to complete the development work by the end of the year.
